Michael A. Humes, 44, of Elizabethtown, Ky., died Jan.
15, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He was a native
of Hardin County, Ky., and a volunteer fireman at the
Central Hardin Fire Department and the Glynn County Fire
Department. He was also a member of Blue Ball Baptist
Church.
He was preceded
in death by his mother, Lillie May Wells Humes.
He is survived
by his father, G.D. Humes of Columbus; three daughters,
Melissa, Jessica and Crystal Humes, all of Henderson,
Ky.; two brothers, David Humes of Darien and Raymond
Humes of Elizabethtown; and one sister, Lori Loper of
Brunswick.
The memorial
service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Golden Isles
RV Park, Brunswick.
Expressions of
sympathy may take the form of donations to the American
Cancer Society.
