Ralph C. Self of Screven and formerly of Brunswick died
Wednesday in Wayne County.
A native of Glynn
County, Mr. Self was retired from the Brunswick Pulp and Paper
Co. He was a former first responder with the Glynn County Fire
Department.
A memorial service will
be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Rinehart and Sons
Funeral Home in Jesup with Lee Stewart officiating.
Honorary pallbearers
will be members of the Glynn County Fire Department.

Survivors include his
wife, Wanda Self of Screven,, two daughters, Julie Smith and
Renee Blount, both of Brunswick; his mother, Levonia B. Self of
Brunswick; his brother, Eugene Self of Brunswick; a
stepdaughter, Sheila White of St. Augustine, Fla.; a stepson,
Warren Mann of Brunswick; three grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
