Norman Richard Lomis Jr., 70, of Brunswick died Friday at the
Brunswick hospital of Southeast Georgia Health System.
He was a native of
Bensalem, Pa., and had been a resident of Brunswick, Ga., for 36
years. He was a graduate of Bensalem High School in Bucks
County, Pa., and was a member of Bensalem United Methodist
Church. He retired from the U.S. Navy and was a member of the
Fleet Reserve Association. He was an avid fisherman.
The memorial service
will be at 3 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2006, in the chapel of Edo
Miller and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Crandall
officiating.
Mr. Lomis is survived
by his wife, Joan Lomis of Brunswick; two sons, Scott Lomis of
Brunswick and Jim Lomis of Kingsland; five grandchildren; and
two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests
