James
F. Lampp, 61, of Brunswick died Monday at the local hospital.
A
funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with David Owens and Rev.
Clarke Wiggins Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel
Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers
are Nick Christ, Ronny Carver, Gene Vaughn, Herman Day, Ronald
Harrison, Tony Manning, Bobby Wiliford and Ken Plyman.
Honorary
pallbearers are James Harrison, Gerald Todd, Bobby Cargile, Jim
Purscille, C.H. Strickland, James Farmer, Larry Barwick, James
Knight, Eddie Anderson, James Meyers, Ronald Harrison Jr., John
Roy Collins, Jackie Holliday, Wendell Sears, Maxine Wraggs,
Joyce Crosby and Dan VanGartsen.
The
family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the
funeral home.
Surviving
are two daughters, Beverly Lampp Luhrs and Krystal Lashea Lampp,
both of Brunswick; a son, James Franklin Lampp Jr., Brunswick;
three sisters, Bernice Mosier of Warner Robins, Shirley Allmond
of Brunswick and Melba Lassen of Dearborne Heights, Mich.; a
granddaughter, Hayley R. Luhers, Brunswick; and several nieces
and nephews.
Mr.
Lampp was a native of Emanuel County and had been a resident of
Brunswick for 44 years. He had worked for the Glynn County Fire
Department, Schwerman Trucking and A & L Auto Wrecking. He
was a member of the Church of God.
