Detector Program |

 “Operation Guardian Angel”
Providing smoke detectors
for any home without one. Our goal is to have an operational smoke detector in every
home in Glynn County.

Blood Pressure Checks |

Providing the public the
opportunity to monitor their blood pressure by providing free blood
pressure checks at every Glynn County Fire Station. |

Media
Coverage |

Providing public safety
awareness program utilizing media coverage. Coordinating the
distribution of public safety announcements and press releases via
local radio broadcasts and local newspapers. |

Additionally, the Glynn County Fire Department has a
presence at local athletic activities, local fairs and other civic
activities that promote a heightened awareness of fire safety and
prevention. |
