A fire at a Colonel’s Island auto processor
Wednesday did little damage, but the plume of smoke
from the blaze could be seen from miles away. Glynn
County firefighters responded to a blaze at about
noon at Pasha Automotive Services on Joe Frank
Harris Boulevard at the Port of Brunswick on
Colonel’s Island. Pasha processes BMW vehicles for
shipment in and out of the United States. “It was a
small fire, contained in two dumpsters,” said Robert
Morris, spokesman for the Georgia Ports Authority,
in Savannah. Morris said there were no injuries and
no significant damage. “There was never a threat to
the building or any vehicles,” he said. |
