A Glynn County firefighter extinguishes drums of fire in the northeast corner of the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport on Wednesday during a disaster drill at the airport. The drill scenario called for a mock airplane crash on the airport grounds, complete with drums of fire and approximately 40 victims with a variety of injuries. The drill, which is required every three years by the Federal Aviation Administration, provides training for participants, while testing communications and coordination among the various organizations.
