If you see fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency vehicles racing out to the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport on Wednesday, don’t panic. It’s only a drill.

The airport will conduct a full-scale triennial disaster drill in the afternoon to practice and test emergency preparedness.

The drill scenario will include a mock plane crash on airport property. Among those participating will be all emergency fire and police services, Southeast Georgia Healthcare System, American Red Cross and Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
