FIREFIGHTERS TRAIN FOR HIGH-RISE BLAZES

Glynn County firefighters from Stations 2 and 4 on St. Simons Island put on their gear and prepare to carry a high-rise pack to the top of the lighthouse for high-rise fire training. The high-rise pack, which contains 50 feet of hose, weighs approximately 70 pounds. The firefighters, wearing 80 pounds of gear, relayed the bag between them as they climbed the 129 steps to the top.
