If you are thinking of burning anything outdoors, think again.

“At this time, there is no burning in Glynn County,” said Capt. Neal Mann of the Glynn County Fire Department.

Fire permits must be obtained from the Georgia Forestry Commission.

The Georgia Forestry Commission and county fire department have been responding to brush fires in Glynn County. Wednesday, Glynn County firefighters extinguished several hot spots left from two small fires that broke out Tuesday evening. The fires burned about 10 to 12 acres each.
