GLYNN COUNTY, GA – Sunday May 22, 2005 the Glynn County Fire Department was dispatched to a shed on fire.  First arriving units reported a wood frame structure appearing to be heavily involved.

Personnel quickly advanced an attack line to the side rear corner with the heaviest fire concentration and knocked down the majority of the fire located on an exterior porch of the structure.  Personnel then proceeded into the structure and attic where fire had spread and with the combination of ventilation techniques was able to clear the smoke and extinguish the remaining fire.

Department personnel remained on scene and insured that all hot spots were extinguished and then turned the scene over to the owner.

There were no injuries to personnel or occupants as a result of the fire.
