In an ongoing attempt to collect and
archive the departments’ historical record we are asking that anyone with any
information related to the Glynn County Fire Department or its volunteer
divisions please allow us the opportunity to duplicate the data for future
reference and use.
All material provided will be
returned after being scanned, photographed and documented. All photo credits
and submission information will be recorded along with material submitted.
Type of information requested:
Photographs digital or printed (of personnel, stations, apparatus, and
incidents)
Newspaper and magazine articles
Video tapes
Uniforms, T-shirts, jumpsuits, turnout gear, and etc
Badges & patches
Anything else related to the Department
 If you are concerned about not
getting your information returned you can bring it to the Glynn County Fire
Department’s ‘store’, located in the Colonial Mall just down from Sears (see map
at right), during
Fire Prevention Week, October 4 – 9, 2004, and we will reproduce it while you
wait. You can also contact us and set up a meeting at your convenience.
Once again, if YOU have anything
related to the Glynn County Fire Department… PLEASE contact us. All material
will be returned regardless of what it may be.
We are serious about bringing
anything no mater how small or seemingly insignificant, as “Today’s events make
tomorrow’s history.” In other words what may seem unimportant today may be
valuable tomorrow.
