Giving
to support the burn foundations. |

GLYNN
COUNTY -- Glynn County firefighters, along with
firefighters across the state, were out this past
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday collecting donations to
help support the burn foundations in Georgia.
Personnel
with the Glynn County Fire Department collected money at
locations around Glynn county for three days. On the
mainland firefighters were seen at Wal-Mart
located on Altama Connector between the hours of 10:00am
to 5:00pm, and on St. Simons Island firefighters were seen
in the village near the pier and at Winn Dixie in Retreat
Plaza during the same time period.
Glynn
County firefighters were raising money to support the Georgia
Firefighters Burn Foundation located in Atlanta, and the
Southeast
Firefighters Burn Foundation located in Augusta.
Proceeds will be split between the two foundations to
assist with the expenses of rehabilitation of the burn victims
that the foundations assist.
